Amazon FBA VA FBM
Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) are two different ways to sell products on Amazon.
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service offered by Amazon that allows sellers to store their products in Amazon's fulfillment centers. When a customer places an order for one of these products, Amazon will pick, pack and ship the product to the customer, and handle customer service and returns on behalf of the seller. This can help reduce the workload and costs associated with fulfilling orders for sellers.
Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) is when a seller fulfills and ships orders to customers directly. Sellers using FBM handle their own inventory, shipping and customer service.
Both FBA and FBM have their own pros and cons. FBA is a more hands-off approach, which allows you to focus on sourcing and listing products, while Amazon handles the fulfillment and customer service. FBM allows you to have more control over the shipping process, but it also requires more work, resources and expenses.
It's important to note that sellers who use FBA can also use FBM if they want to fulfill some of their orders themselves and to use FBA for the rest, this is called Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF).
A VA (Virtual Assistant) can help you with the tasks related to both FBA and FBM. They can help with tasks such as product research, listing optimization, customer service, and order fulfillment.
